goScreenCapture can be used to take snapshots of the screen at a moment's notice. Its simple appearance and straightforward functionality make it easy to master, even for novice users. It supports several screen capturing modes and it works quite fast. You will be able to capture anything on your screen, from the whole thing to small details, in just a few seconds.

The software is free and you can have it up and running in no time, on any popular Windows platform. It comes in a small package and the installation process doesn't involve any complex settings. Also, goScreenCapture doesn't ask for any additional tools or services and you don't have to sacrifice too many resources.

goScreenCapture's provides a compact user interface, with three screen capturing options. You can choose to capture the entire screen, a rectangular area or an active window. Regardless of what method you choose, once you take a snapshot, the image will be loaded immediately onto a lightweight editor.

The built-in editor allows you to make a few annotations on your screenshots. Furthermore, the application places several output options at your disposal.
